It also sentenced 47 defendants to life imprisonment, 374 others for 15 years of aggravated imprisonment, 10 years of aggravated imprisonment for Osama Mohammed Morsi, 10 years imprisonment for 22 others, 5 years imprisonment for 215 others, including the journalist Shoukan, and the expiry of the case for the death of 5 citizens.
In addition to depriving the accused of managing their money and firing them from their jobs. The court also decided to place all defendants except those sentenced to death and life imprisonment under probation for five years.
Justice for Human Rights foundation- JHR confirms its rejection of these arbitrary judgments issued by an exceptional court formed in violation of the law and the Constitution. In its report on the case, the Foundation has submitted numerous violations to the guarantees of a fair trial in that case, including the existence of a political dispute between the judge and the accused. JHR also calls on retring the defendants in front of a fair and impartial judiciary that guarantees the conditions of justice.
